# Create a new clean room

Create a Clean Room from a Clean Room Template and invite your first partner.

## Your goal

Open an actual collaborative space with a specific partner, so you can start sharing datasets, matching them, and acting on the result.

## Prerequisites

* A [Clean Room Template](/collaboration/prepare-your-environment/manage-your-clean-room-templates.md) for the [Collaborative App](/collaboration/plan-and-integrate/setup-clean-rooms/clean-rooms.md#what-a-collaborative-app-is) you need. If your organisation does not have one yet, ask your Clean Room admin to create one first.

Contact your Account manager to set up a new Clean Room in your environment.
{% endhint %}

## List all Clean Rooms

Head to the **Clean rooms** feature to see every active Clean Room your organisation is part of. For each one you can see:

| Column                | Meaning                                                                                       |
| --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Admin**             | The Clean Room's owner                                                                        |
| **Partner**           | The non-admin Clean Room partner                                                              |
| **Shared datasets** | Number of datasets shared by you and your partner in this Clean Room |
| **Matched datasets** | Number of active matchings performed by you and your partner |
| **Collaborative app** | The Collaborative App and template used to create this Clean Room (displayed for Admins only) |

## Clean Room collaborators

Every Clean Room has an **Administrator**, who invites the partner and can activate matching results, and a **Partner**, who can share and match datasets and analyze insights. See [Clean Room collaborators](/collaboration/plan-and-integrate/setup-clean-rooms/clean-rooms.md#clean-room-collaborators) for the full breakdown - an organisation can be Administrator of one Clean Room while being a Partner in another.

## Next step

Once your Clean Room exists, [share your datasets](/collaboration/prepare-your-environment/share-your-datasets.md) into it so a matching can be run.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.mediarithmics.io/collaboration/prepare-your-environment/create-a-new-clean-room.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
