# 2026

Every mediarithmics platform release published in 2026, newest first.

Every release published in 2026, newest first. Each label carries the release type first, then the feature it belongs to. Other years are listed on [Change log](/release-notes/readme.md); what Alpha means is on [Release process](/release-notes/release-process.md).

## Monitor your segment usage with the new Usage Overview tab

A new **Usage overview** tab is now available in Audience > Segments. It gives you a clear, self-service view of how many segments your organization uses, so you always know where you stand.

* **Two usage metrics at a glance:** Activated Segments (segments pushed to at least one live feed) and Total number of segments in your account.
* **Usage against your limits:** when limits are set for your account, each metric is shown as a gauge with a colour code, so you can see at a glance how much headroom you have - and start a conversation with your Account Manager when you need more.
* **Breakdown by type:** see how your segments split across types, and between activated and non-activated ones.
* **Creation over time:** track how your segment base has grown, month after month.

The segment type filter on the Segments page has also been refreshed, and now groups segments into 9 functional types.

## Data Clean Room: Collaborative Apps and Clean Room Templates

Two new concepts have been introduced on top of the Data Clean Room module to give you full control over your data-collaboration governance:

* **Collaborative Apps** define the type of collaboration your Clean Rooms will run (Retail Brand Portal, Media Audience Portal, TV Audience Portal, and more).
* **Clean Room Templates** carry your organisation's reusable configuration - authorized feeds, reference datasets, matching keys, identifier freshness - that applies to every Clean Room you open with a partner.

New partnerships can now be launched in a few clicks, always following the rules you have validated once and for all. See the `Collaboration` section, under Clean Rooms.

## Destinations for self-service feed configuration

The Feeds management interface has been redesigned to give you more autonomy, speed, and clarity when configuring activations, with the introduction of **Destinations**.

* **Full autonomy:** create and configure destinations directly from the interface, without support from mediarithmics Professional Services. This speeds up your activation cycles.
* **Bulk ID updates:** add new identifiers to your presets and propagate changes across all linked feeds in just a few clicks.
* **Self-service diagnostics:** authentication errors now surface directly in the interface, so you can renew access yourself when needed.

## Stories: AI-powered Intention and Affinity scores

mediarithmics introduces Stories, a new suite of AI-powered scoring algorithms that enrich your audience data with predictive insights about your users' purchasing behaviour.

Built on the continuous analysis of browsing and transactional data, Stories delivers two complementary scores refreshed in real-time and available directly in the Segment Builders:

* **Stories Intention:** identifies users currently engaged in an active purchasing cycle on a given product category, enabling you to reach hot prospects beyond the classic cart abandoner audience.
* **Stories Affinity:** qualifies each user's degree of interest in product categories, including categories they have never directly interacted with, by detecting hidden affinities through correlation analysis across your user base.

## Data Clean Room: Segment catalog for bulk overlap analysis

Explicit dataset typing has been introduced in the Data Clean Room, along with a new **Segment Catalog** type that lets you expose a curated collection of segments and match them against a single Segment dataset in one operation. This provides a quick view of which segments in a partner's catalog overlap the most with your own audience, without triggering individual matches one by one.

* **Explicit dataset typing:** three types are available in self-service today (Audience Segment, User Profile, Segment Catalog), with additional types to come.
* **1-to-N matching:** match a single Segment against an entire Segment Catalog in one operation.
* **Embedded dashboard:** shows overlap percentage and common users for each segment in the catalog.

See the `Collaboration` section, under Share your datasets.

## New connector: Batch CEP

Batch proposes their new Customer Engagement Platform (CEP), replacing their previous Mobile Engagement Platform. The Batch CEP is a customer engagement platform that helps brands manage and activate user audiences across their engagement channels.

*The connector to the Batch MEP platform is no longer available.*

## Automated First ID JavaScript Tag installation

Integrating First ID on websites using the mediarithmics JavaScript tag has been simplified. Customers can now enable an option in the JS Tag Configuration to automatically install the First ID SDK on their webpages, reducing implementation effort and accelerating setup.

## Improved 1st-party Segment Overlap

The 1st-party Segment Overlap feature has been enhanced to make your audience analysis more relevant, faster, and easier to use:

* **Advanced filtering:** filter overlap results using segment labels, to focus on the audiences that matter most.
* **Faster experience:** loading times reduced, with smoother navigation even in large environments.
* **More meaningful results:** the selected segment is no longer included in its own overlap.

## New connector – Amazon Ads Data Manager (consent handling)

The Amazon DSP connector now handles the Amazon consent. Depending on usage on the Amazon Ads platform, each consent can be handled separately.

## New connector – Amazon Ads Data Manager

The Amazon Ads Data Manager connector is now available, enabling you to upload, manage, and share data seamlessly across Amazon DSP, Amazon Sponsored Ads, and Amazon Marketing Cloud. Authentication is streamlined through a "Sign in with Amazon" flow.

*This connector replaces the previous Amazon Marketing Cloud connector.*

## CTV channels and IP address auto-capture

Capabilities in CTV tracking have been enriched to help increase reach on connected and smart TV environments:

* **Dedicated CTV channel type:** a new "Connected TV" channel type has been added alongside Website and Mobile application.
* **IP address auto-capture in the ID graph:** on CTV channels, IP addresses can be automatically captured for user activities, enriching the ID graph without triggering UserPoint merges.
* **IP address device registries:** two new device registry types have been added, for IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
* **Activation of IP addresses:** available through two connectors, Equativ and FreeWheel Audience Manager.

## Centralized API Token management and usage tracking

A new screen (Settings > Organisation > API Authentication) helps community and organisation administrators manage mediarithmics API credentials from a single, centralized dashboard:

* **Centralized governance:** view all API tokens across the organization in one place, including User Account and Service Account tokens.
* **Manage Service Accounts:** create, edit, and revoke Service Account tokens directly through the UI.
* **Monitor activity:** see the "Last Used" date for every token to track integration health.
* **Proactive management:** track expiration dates so integrations do not go dark unexpectedly.
* **Better security:** identify unused tokens and clean up your environment.

## Improved CDP and Data Clean Room integration

Several improvements have been released to make Data Clean Room integration with the CDP seamless:

* Share a segment from your CDP directly in a Clean Room.
* Instantly see on which activation platforms your datasets matchings have been activated.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.mediarithmics.io/release-notes/readme/2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
